Wow, in all the excitement of the last few weeks, I totally lost track of dates! One year ago on April 20th I wrote my first blog post...which could be summed up by calling it my 'mission statement'. My blog has been a place for me to post photos and stories about things that have made an impression on me and has let you all in on the daily 'imprints' of my life. I started my blog while on maternity leave with my first son and some of my favourite posts are from my early days as a blogger. From my son's milestones, to life as a mom, to the announcement of our second baby. My more recent post's have been focused on crafts and decor as our impending arrival got me 'nesting' like crazy.
All in all though, I never really thought about how much of an impact this blog would make on my life when I posted for the first time. It has become a great outlet for me and has helped me launch my business, plus it has linked me to a lot of great people, who write a lot of amazing things, on a lot of creative blogs!
Thank you to everyone who reads and comments, I love hearing from you all!! I have big dreams for Imprintalish and hope for many more successful years as a blogger!

It was a busy Easter weekend in our neck of the woods, the weather was beautiful and we got to spend time with family and friends...all in all, there was lots of fun to be had!
Gray was pretty disappointed when there wasn't candy in all the eggs!
Easter weekend also brought together the first meeting of new cousins!
Happy 3 Week birthday Westyn!

Photographs are worth a thousand words...so here is a peak inside our lives the past few weeks.

Westyn joined our family on the morning of Sunday April 3, 2011. He was a week early and weighed 8lbs 7oz and was 20.5 inches long. He is the most precious little boy ever, and once again I am amazed at how much love your heart can hold for a little human being!
My labour was quick-start to finish only 4.5 hours-compared to when I had Gray-which was over 15 hours start to finish. I feel great, and am so happy to be at home with our new family of four!

It's almost ready! Ready to the point that if the baby came right now, it would be OK. But I am still playing with a few things and have yet to personalize it with baby Pea Pod's name (which we are narrowing down, finally!). I am absolutely loving how it is turning out!
